Candidates negotiate blind. Employers hold every data point.
Cirqoo moves that leverage back toward the people doing the work. Verified salary benchmarks, employer-authenticated vacancies, and workplace discussion that carries weight because the person writing it can prove where they sit.
Prototype figures drawn from the seeded dataset.
Four rules the whole platform runs on.
“Everyone knows what the job pays. Everyone except the person being offered it.”
The gap Cirqoo exists to close
Anonymous to the public, accountable to the platform
Contributors post behind an alias. The corporate domain behind that alias is checked once and never published, which is what keeps the signal honest without exposing anyone.
Aggregate only, never the individual
A role's pay band stays hidden until it clears ten verified submissions. Below that threshold a figure could identify the person who gave it, so no figure is shown at all.
Provenance travels with the data
Every vacancy carries the tier it came in through. A community-sourced listing is never dressed up as an employer-verified one, because that distinction is the whole point.
Affiliation, not current employment
Verification proves you worked somewhere, not that you still do. Alumni keep access to the boards they earned, since their experience does not stop being true.
Five tiers, each one earned.
What you can do on Cirqoo depends on what you have proven. Nothing is bought.

Where a vacancy came from
Every one of the 16 listings carries one of these four states, shown on the listing itself.
Posted directly through an employer account.
Submitted or scraped, then confirmed by domain match.
Submitted by a user and not yet corroborated.
Flagged by the community and awaiting moderation.
What you can say
Anonymity protects contributors. It does not protect defamation.
Personal opinions, cultural feedback, and frustration about pay or process.
Unverified factual claims that could move a share price or wreck a reputation.
Naming individuals maliciously, hate speech, and anything illegal.
What we hold, and what we never show.
Your domain stays private
Checked once to confirm affiliation. Posts show your alias and the company name, never your address.
Your salary is a percentile
Individual figures are never displayed. They exist only inside a band with at least ten other submissions.
Your name is never published
It is held so the platform can act on abuse. The community only ever sees the badge you earned.
Built in the open, in two phases.
What you are looking at is a working prototype. The data is seeded, the interactions are real, and the models behind it are the ones the production schema will use.
Complete frontend prototype
Every surface built against seeded data: 14 employers, 16 vacancies, 11 threads, and percentile bands across 6 roles.
Backend integration
Authentication and a PostgreSQL schema generated from these same models, so verification, gating, and the sample-size threshold move from simulated to enforced.
The benchmarks only exist because insiders shared theirs.
Verify a corporate domain to contribute pay data and post as a Verified Employee.
